Conference Room Policy

The conference room in the Dorothy Haggen Building is available for rental exclusively to Barkley Village tenants, which currently include more than 80 businesses. The conference room is provided by the Talbot Group as a courtesy to our tenants and is intended for occasional use when a larger space is needed for business purposes. The Talbot Group reserves the right to update, cancel, or modify bookings as necessary. 

There are approximately 40 chairs and 12 tables in the conference room, along with a projector, projection screen, sound system and podium. 

Internet access, both wired and wireless, is available during your use of the conference room.

The conference room doors are on a timer which allows you to enter the conference room at the exact time of your reservation.

The main North and South building entrances are timed to lock at 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. If your reservation extends past this time, you will still be able to exit through those doors, but entry is only available via the door closest to the conference room on the East side of the building. This door will lock promptly at the at the end time specified in your reservation.

Conference room usage, rates, and reservations policy:

● Conference room usage will be billed to the tenant at a rate of $50 per hour effective 08/01/2026.

● Reservations can be made online 5 days to 90 days in advance of your event.

● To book a reservation less than 5 days in advance, email info@talbotgroup.com. Please include the date, beginning and ending times you will need for the reservation. (Don’tforget to include set-up/break-down time.)  A $25.00 surcharge will be added to the rental fee.

● Cancellations must be made online at least 24 hours in advance or you will be billed for the entire time reserved.

● Existing conference room users can login to their account on the AllBooked (formerly Skedda) online booking system to make or cancel reservations. New user reservation requests must be e-mailed to: info@talbotgroup.com so that we can set you up with an AllBooked account.

●  Conference room usage is restricted to tenants and their business related purposes. Tenants may not profit from or charge for use of conference room.

●  Reservations are on a first come, first served basis.

●  Responsibility for the conference room, during the time of use, remains with the tenant who made the reservation.

●  Room should be left neat and tidy, with tables and chairs returned to their original locations.
